HIGHCLIFF FARM is located approximately 20 miles
west of Albany, NY in the scenic foothills of the Adirondack
Mountains. HIGHCLIFF FARM currently consists of approximately
800 acres with scheduled expansion plans including construction
of additional barns and paddocks.
Clients' horses, whether one or 100, receive the same

C. Lynwood O'Cain, D.M.V., is our general manager and
resident veterinarian, specializing in equine reproduction
and neonatal care. Under his 24 hour a day supervision,
HIGHCLIFF FARM has established an integrated management
program, which encompasses all aspects of horse care and
maintenance, and allows for individual attention to horses
with special needs.
The quality of HIGHCLIFF FARM's environment, staff and
facilities are just as important as bloodlines in producing
superior runners. Rolling hillsides, high limestone content
and other elements of the environment help equine athletes
build strong muscles and bones. With a 24 hour a day staff,
highly experienced foaling crew and night security, horses
are insured to have the best possible care available.
